A 2006 German documentary directed by André Meier comparing people’s sexual lives, sexual freedom and education and the politics behind these in the FRG and the GDR.
The hypothesis supported by research, interviews and archive footage is that women had more sexual pleasure in East Germany. The film discusses the possible reasons for this considering the differences between the ideology and practical politics of a capitalist and a self-proclaimed communist regime.
